TabTrade.com - The Honest Breakdown

Tab Trade — The Short Version

TabTrade opened in Q1 2026. Online broker incorporated in Saint Lucia, under the FSRA. The person who started it is Benjamin Boulter. Before this, he was in leadership at BlackBull Markets, an New Zealand-regulated broker.

His background matters. It suggests the leadership knows how a proper broker operates. That is not a guarantee. But more reassuring than a founder with no industry background.

The broker opened with Equinix LD4/LD5 connectivity. Same data centres prime brokers run on. Most new brokers leads with marketing and bonuses. Tab Trade led with infrastructure. Not the typical playbook.

Market coverage: FX, indices, metals, commodities, shares, crypto, ETFs. 1,000+. For something this new, that range is broad.

Platforms

Available: MT5, cTrader by Spotware, and a browser platform. Both platforms from one account. A lot of brokers pick one platform. Getting both is useful. Use whichever you prefer.

MT5 is the industry standard. Complete charts, automated trading, massive community. If you have used MT4 or MT5 previously, it is familiar territory.

cTrader is the cleaner option. Better depth of market. Faster charting. Native automated trading. Many people prefer it after comparing.

FIX API is offered for algo traders but is only on the VIP account ($25k minimum). TradingView charting is apparently coming. That should be a good addition when it lands.

What You Pay

Three tiers: Standard, Edge, VIP.

Standard. 1.0 pip spreads. No commission. Simple. Zero deposit requirement. Good for anyone who does not want to think about commission.

Edge account. Raw spreads from 0.0 pips on average. Flat commission of $3.50 each way. Total cost: raw spread plus $7 per full lot. On majors, the raw spread is often a fraction of a pip. So your all-in cost can sit under half a pip. That is hard to beat for a broker with $0 to start. Most platforms that have spreads this tight ask for $500 or $1,000 upfront. TabTrade does not.

VIP account. $25k to open. FIX connectivity, sub-20ms execution, tailored rates. Not something typical accounts. Ignore this one unless you run serious volume.

How Fast Are the Fills

The speed is the thing TabTrade separates from most new launches. Equinix servers in London. Sub-30ms execution on Edge. Sub-20ms on VIP. Those are proper execution targets. Most retail brokers run a much wider range.

Does it matter? For short-term trading, absolutely. The difference between fast execution and sluggish execution is profit or loss on tight trades. If you trade higher timeframes, you probably will not feel it. But the fact that the infrastructure is there. That says what kind of broker this is.

Combine that execution speed with the Edge account pricing and the overall offering holds up. Not many platforms with no minimum deposit run Equinix connectivity.

Safety

Here is the thing you need to be straight about. The broker is under Saint Lucia's FSRA. That is offshore. No CySEC. No government-backed safety net. If the lack of tier-1 regulation is a problem for you, this broker is not for you. Plenty of ASIC-licensed brokers out there.

That said. Benjamin Boulter spent years at BlackBull Markets, an FMA-regulated broker. The server placement is not cheap. Dodgy operations do not bother with tier-1 data centre access. None of this replace tier-1 regulation. But be part of your decision.

The trade-off: you give up tier-1 protection. For that: high leverage, raw pricing from 0.0 pips, $0 to start, fast fills. Whether that makes sense depends on you.

Welcome Offer

TabTrade runs bonus funds of up to $2,000. Typical sign-up bonus. You fund your account, the broker top up your balance. Standard terms apply: turnover conditions before bonus funds can be taken out. Check the terms before you deposit.
